This kayaking experience in Galway, takes place around the wonderful Connemara Caves a unique location where you will be able to explore the gorgeous Connemara coastline and fabulous sea arches and cliffs of Cleggan Head. You will meet your host at Bundouglas Beach, on your way to Bundouglas, you'll feel like you have taken a step back in time, with old cottages, farm houses and fields with sheep and cows. When you arrive at Bundouglas Beach, for this amazing experience of kayaking the Connemara Caves your host will go through an introduction as to how your kayaking experience in Galway will pan out and will also go through a short safety briefing. You will then receive your wetsuit and get into the water to practise the techniques your host has briefed you on before heading off down the gorgeous coastline for your kayaking experience in Galway to truly begin.

You will explore the stunning Connemara Cave and coastline of Galway, whilst your host will deliver fascinating information as to the geology of Connemara Cave as well as providing information as to the sea life that exists around this part of Ireland. Upon completing your experience of kayaking the Connemara Caves, you will head back to Bundouglas Beach, to get out of your wetsuits and have an informal de-brief of your kayaking experience in Galway.

With our professional expert host, you will experience some of the best of Galway and come back from this activity feeling refreshed, relaxed and content with your time in Connemara.

Please be aware that for children to take part this kayaking experience in Galway, they will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The weather does dictate the participation of kayaking in Galway, therefore in bad weather conditions the activity is unlikely to go ahead, you will be contacted if this is the case but if you're unsure, please contact the centre on the morning of your scheduled tour. There are three scheduled departure times; 10:00, 14:30 and 18:30, during the autumn and winter the later departure is not available. This experience of kayaking the Connemara Caves lasts for approximately three hours in total.
